Center for Southern Craft & Design Pop-Up Vincente Weber

October 1 - 31

Come Shop the South with the works of artist Vincente Weber!

Being a photographer in the unique city of New Orleans helps Weber translate inspiration in many forms. He explores form, texture and color in the place he calls home. Shooting both film and digital photography, Weber prints all of his own work by hand and makes one-of-a-kind woven photographs. Of his work, Weber says, “My woven pieces help me push beyond the print making process and into a world of photographic creation that I can sculpt with my hands. Photography for me is balancing an emotional response with interesting subject matter, and hopefully some nice colors.”
