The Ogden Museum of Southern Art is seeking two part-time (15 hours per week) communications interns (undergraduate or graduate) to assist the communications department with social media, content writing, event submissions, website updates, graphic design, short videos and other communications efforts.
This is an unpaid internship, although college credit may be available through your school. The schedule is flexible based on your availability, and some work can be done remotely.

The intern will work closely with the Education Manager and Outreach Coordinator to assist with the planning and organizing of activities coordinated by the Education Department such as docent led tours, summer camps the Summer Teen Docent Program and the Family Fair. Additional duties may include research for special projects and assisting other areas of the museum as requested. The intern will also be expected to perform general departmental duties, such as preparation of program packets, creating educational materials, correspondence, educational blog upkeep and scheduling. Candidates must have excellent organizational and basic computer skills and should be comfortable interacting with the public.
This position is an un-paid, part-time position.
