The Education Internship Program serves New Orleans area college and university students with the goal of building professional networks, developing leadership skills and empowering young professionals to continue the pursuit of higher education and a career in the arts. The internship provides immersion in a museum environment and ample opportunities to work alongside museum professionals and exhibiting artists.
The Education Intern will work closely with the Education Manager to assist with the planning and organization of activities presented by the Education Department. The summer internship primarily consists of assisting with the operation of Ogden Museum Summer Camps and Museum tours. Due to the high demand of the summer camps, the internship calls for a 30 hour a week commitment from June through July 2023.
Students who have an interest in pursuing a career in the arts, education or museums are encouraged to apply. To apply, please email a resume and cover letter to education@ogdenmuseum.org. Please include Summer 2023 Internship in the title of the email.
Prospective candidates will be notified by email at the end of April 2023.
Please note that the internship is unpaid, but can be used for academic credit. Questions? Please contact education@ogdenmuseum.org.
