Free Family Day A Celebration of A Summer's Prayer

Join us for a fun-filled, family-friendly day at Ogden Museum of Southern Art in celebration of the exhibition A Summer’s Prayer. Enjoy summer-themed activities, including art activities inspired by artwork on view and a Museum scavenger hunt with prizes. The FREE admission day includes family-friendly entertainment, pop-up art vendors, community partner tables, a food truck and more!

- Ogden Museum Teen Interns’ Puppet Show – Meet Teen Interns and enjoy a puppet show performance inspired by select artwork from Ogden Museum’s Permanent Collection.

Pop-Up Art Vendors
- Shop for local art from vendors featured in Ogden Museum’s Center for Southern Craft & Design. Vendors onsite will include: Simply Shenelle Candles and Symone Smith.
- Get your face painted with your favorite design by a Face Painter! (10 a.m. – 12 p.m.)

- Interactive Summertime Memory Wall Inspired by A Summer’s Prayer – Display your favorite summertime memory on the interactive wall!

- Soft Sculpture Puppets Inspired by Ogden Museum’s Teen Interns’ Puppet Show – Make a functional puppet of your favorite character from the Teen Interns’ Puppet Show.

- The Green Project – Play a game and learn about the importance of recycling.
- Electric Girls – Use a robot to draw! Create a drawing by coding a Bee Bot to move in whatever direction you choose!
