The Ogden After Hours Jazz Series continues with the celebration of Herman Leonard: Images of Jazz, presented by The Helis Foundation, featuring an electrifying performance by New Orleans trumpeter, vocalist, and composer Aurélien Barnes. A leading voice of the city’s new generation, Barnes blends traditional New Orleans jazz with Mardi Gras Indian funk and modern influences, honoring the legacy of legends like King Oliver and Louis Armstrong while pushing the sound forward.
