About the Magnolia Ball: Each June the Ogden hosts the Magnolia Ball which celebrates and benefits the Center for Southern Craft and Design. The annual fundraiser serves to highlight the artistic contributions of craft artists and designers from the American South. The evening includes craft cocktail stations and open bars, a silent auction, and live music and dancing. This year’s Magnolia Ball will celebrate the Ogden Museum’s photography exhibitions, The Coulourful South: William Christenberry, Birney Imes, William Greiner, William Ferris and Alec Soth and William Eggleston: Troubled Waters, From the Collection of William Greiner. Vendors for Magnolia Ball include Diva Dawg, Taceaux Loceaux, Kenton’s, Palate Catering, Rosedale, Domenica, and Martin Wine Cellar Catering. Love, Cookie will also be providing boxes of cookies for takeaway favors.
