/// October 8 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Wednesdays from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
October 8, 15, 22 and 29

Through sketching, layering shapes and adding painted details, participants will bring their ideas to life, ending in a finished relief portrait. By choosing fabrics, cutting patterns and arranging layered designs, participants will bring their ideas to life, ending in a finished textile collage.

About Teaching Artist Myron Solomon, Jr

Myron Solomon, Jr. is an interdisciplinary visual artist from New Orleans. A Dillard University BFA and School of Visual Arts MFA graduate, his work pushes beyond traditional New Orleans art while honoring its cultural roots. Exploring existential themes, Myron uses hyperbole to evoke introspection in his audience. His passion for the arts extends to education, where he shares his knowledge with youth, aiming to inspire the same transformative experiences that shaped his own journey.
