Instructions
Step 1: Search your house for materials and objects that you want to use in your artwork.Look for things that have texture. Feel what you have found. Is it soft, hard, rough, smooth?
Step 2: Create more texture by ripping pieces of paper. Roll strips of paper to make curls, crumple it to make a rough texture, or cut or rip small slits to create fringe.
Step 3: In addition to the material’s texture, look at the colors. What colors do you want in your artwork? Each color can covey an emotion. How does the color red make you feel?
Step 4: Once you have collected materials for your artwork find a place to set up your assemblage. You can create your artwork on a piece of paper, on the floor, or on a table.
Step 5: Think about how you want to arrange the materials to create your artwork. What are the colors and textures of the materials that you have collected? How can you use these characteristics to express a feeling with your art?
Step 6 (Optional): Take pictures of your artwork and share them with your friends and family.

Found object — a thing that someone else has given or thrown away that is often repurposed by artists
Texture – the feel, appearance, or consistency of a surface or a substance.

Explora tu hogar y recoge materiales para crear una obra de arte que puedas tocar.

Instrucciones
Paso 1: Busca en tu hogar materiales y objetos que quieras utilizar en tu obra de arte. Busca objetos que tengan textura. Toca lo que encontraste. ¿Es blando, duro, áspero o suave?
Paso 2: Arranca pedazos de papel y crea más textura. Enrolla las tiras de papel, creando rulos y arrúgalos para crear una textura áspera o córtalos realizando pequeñas rajaduras, creando un flequillo.
Paso 3: Además de la textura del material, presta atención a los colores. ¿Qué colores quieres que haya en tu obra? Cada color puede transmitir una emoción. ¿Cómo te hace sentir el rojo?
Paso 4: Luego de haber recogido los materiales para tu obra, busca un lugar para colocar tu ensamblaje. Puedes crear tu obra de arte sobre una hoja de papel, el suelo, o sobre una mesa.
Paso 5: ¿Cuáles son los colores o texturas de los materiales que recogiste? ¿Cómo puedes utilizar estas características para expresar un sentimiento con el arte?
Paso 6 (Opcional): Toma una foto de tu obra de arte y compártela con amigos y familia.

Objeto encontrado: un objeto que alguien donó o descartó y que los artistas reutilizan para hacer arte.
Textura: el tacto, apariencia o consistencia de una superficie o sustancia.
