The South on the Road "Drape Work" by Sam Gilliam Travels to the Wexner Center for the Arts

Sam Gilliam’s Drape Work, a piece in the Ogden Museum of Southern Art’s Permanent Collection, is traveling to the Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus, Ohio to be included in their Inherent Structure exhibition (May 19 – Aug. 12). This draped canvas is a stunning example of Gilliam’s innovative use of paint in the third dimension. We are thrilled about the inclusion of his work in this exhibition, as more people will have the opportunity to See the South.
