Instructions
Step 1: Decide if you want to make a self-portrait or a portrait of a friend or family member.
Step 2: Explore your house. Look for materials that you can use to create a portrait. Think about the colors and textures of the materials you collect. What is the color and texture of your hair, what materials can you use to re create that? Make sure you ask a parent or guardian’s permission to use the materials that you find.
Step 2: Once you have collected materials for your artwork find a place to set up your assemblage. You can create your artwork on a piece of paper, on the floor, or on a table.
Step 3: Think about how you want to arrange the materials to create your artwork. What are the colors and textures of the materials that you have collected? How can you use these characteristics to re-create the characteristics within your portrait?
Step 4 (Optional): Take a picture of your artwork and share with your friends and family.

Instrucciones
Paso 1: Decide si quieres hacer un autorretrato o un retrato de un amigo o miembro de tu familia.
Paso 2: Explora tu hogar. Busca materiales que puedas utilizar para crear un retrato. Piensa en los colores y texturas de los materiales que recojas. ¿Cuál es el color y textura de tu cabello? ¿Qué materiales puedes usar para recrearlo? Asegúrate de pedirle permiso a un padre o tutor para utilizar los materiales que encuentres.
Paso 3: Luego de haber recolectado los materiales para tu obra de arte, busca un lugar para colocar tu ensamblaje. Puedes crear tu obra de arte sobre una hoja de papel, en el suelo o sobre una mesa.
Paso 4: Piensa en cómo te gustaría colocar los materiales para crear tu obra de arte. ¿Cuáles son los colores y texturas de los materiales que recolectaste? ¿Cómo puedes utilizar estas características para recrear las características dentro de tu retrato?
Paso 5 (Opcional): Toma una foto de tu obra de arte y compártela con tus amigos y familia.
