New Sculpture on the Lawn! Lonnie Holley's Headed to the Land We Were Promised (Glory)

Say hello to Lonnie Holley’s sculpture, Headed to the Land We Were Promised (Glory), now installed on the lawn of our historic Patrick F. Taylor Library and viewable 24/7!

Originally installed in the Poydras Corridor Sculpture Exhibition Presented by The Helis Foundation in 2019, this striking work is now on view at Ogden Museum of Southern Art, a fitting place, as Holley’s work was part of the founding donation of art for the Museum and has been included in numerous exhibitions at the O.
