CURRENTS is an annual exhibition which highlights the diverse photographic work being created by New Orleans Photo Alliance members. Established in 2009, CURRENTS was designed as a showcase exhibition, featuring multiple images per selected photographer, to offer an overview of contemporary photographic practices and projects. For the 10th annual CURRENTS exhibition, Anjuli Lebowitz of the National Gallery of Art selected work by 13 artists.

About the Juror
Anjuli Lebowitz is an exhibition research associate in the department of photographs at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, where she works on exhibitions and publications. Previously, she was a Jane and Morgan Whitney Fellow in the department of photographs at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where she curated Faith and Photography: Auguste Salzmann in the Holy Land. Anjuli earned a Ph.D. in the History of Photography from Boston University, an M.A. from CUNY Hunter College, and a B.A. with honors from Williams College.
