Jade Thiraswas and Tommy Kha are visual storytellers who use the camera to express the humanity of lives lived within the intersection of multiple worlds. Both photographers explore the American South through the context of a shared Asian heritage. Creative Conversation: Jade Thiraswas and Tommy Kha will feature the artists in dialogue on subjects ranging from their studio practice and methodology, ideas on otherness, community, the American South and their photographs featured in the exhibition Knowing Who We Are, currently on view at the Ogden Museum. Richard McCabe, curator of photography will moderate.
This event will take place in the Patrick F. Taylor Library and is FREE and open to the public.
