After a tour of Prospect.4 and examining how artists use symbology to address social or environmental concerns, Prospect.4 artist and educator Michel Varisco will guide participants in a process of discovery to create symbols that express an area of personal or global interest. Students will then create a lantern using this pieces of metal and wire armature, incorporating their personal images. This event is sponsored by the Susan J. Landry Education Fund.
