Artist Spotlight: Daron Douglas

The Center for Southern Craft and Design presents the intricate and colorful handweavings of Daron Douglas. Douglas comes from a family of weavers and keeps the tradition alive working in her New Orleans studio. Inspired by light and sky, she weaves placemats, scarves, rag rugs, bags, backpack panels and overshot-patterned wall hangings.
