Last Thursday, June 23, Ogden Museum welcomed contemporary Cuban musician Yusa, a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, lyricist, arranger and composer who combines traditional Cuban tones with other global genres and modern sensibilities. It was such a treat watching her perform at the O!

Whether you missed Yusa’s performance or want to see more fantastic entertainment, we hope you’ll join us for A Summer Celebration on the evening of July 21, celebrating the reinstallation of Ida Kohlmeyer’s Box of Artificial Flowers #6 to the Poydras Corridor Sculpture Exhibition presented by The Helis Foundation and the opening of the artist’s Aquatic Colonnade Maquettes at Ogden Museum. This event will also feature more contemporary Cuban music with artist Vic Jcome, presented by the CubaNOLA Arts Collective. We hope to see you there!
