About Rapuzzi’s Glo Worm Trio

The Glo Worm Trio perform Italian-American Ballo Liscio and Sala da Barba music, as well as original compositions by Robin Rapuzzi, band leader and 1st mandolinist. Although waltzes, mazurkas and polkas make up the bulk of their repertoire, you may also hear ragtime, early jazz and even calypso on a live-set.  The Glo Worms share members with  popular groups such as Tuba Skinny, James Mcclaskey and The Rhythm Band and the Maxwell Poulos Trio. They are a group of tight-knit friends based in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans, LA and have devoted themselves to resurrecting old world music and composing new pieces of their own.

About Crescent Cityscapes

Since its beginning, the City of New Orleans has been both a subject and a muse to generations of artists. This exhibition draws primarily from the permanent collection of Ogden Museum of Southern Art to show how artists have portrayed the Crescent City through drawings, paintings, photographs and prints. From 19th century street scenes to contemporary abstractions, these works show the deep and lasting influence of the built environment and natural light of New Orleans upon the visual arts.
