Ogden Museum After School Photography Club For Grades 6-12

Wednesdays, November 11 – December 23 , 2020 (NEW DATES)
(No class Thanksgiving week)
Grades 6- 12
Led by New Orleans photographer, Aubrey Edwards! 

Each week, students will be given a shooting assignment with a particular theme, building off what they learned in live meets. 

In each live club meeting, students will share the work they created that week, reflect on their process, learn a new photographic technique and concept, and have hands on lessons.  The 1.5 hour session will be formatted to include 45 mins of on screen learning and sharing, and 45 mins of off screen guided photo exercises. By the end of our club, students will understand composition, different types of lighting, how to use images to tell a story and how to comfortably use their cameras.

Photography Club participants may use any type of digital camera (including phone cameras). Before the club begins, Ms. Aubrey Edwards will be in touch with all participants regarding individual equipment needs and virtual classroom access instructions.
