About The Unending Stream: Chapter I
The Unending Stream: Chapter I, highlights New Orleans’ thriving photography community. The title of the exhibition pays homage to a Clarence John Laughlin photograph of the same title, which is a part of the permanent collection at Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Laughlin’s seminal work, created between the 1930s and 1950s, is an important chapter in the long-storied relationship between New Orleans and photography. Following in his visionary footsteps, this exhibition focuses on contemporary New Orleans photographers who continue to capture the American South through visually poetic imagery.
