As the evening unfolds, curators and guest scholars will lead an engaging discussion that delves into artistic styles, traditions, techniques and the deeper stories behind the art. Each Culture & Cocktails evening offers a chance to see art from a new perspective, spark meaningful dialogue and connect more deeply with the works on view.

This evening, collector Michael Burke joins Bradley Sumrall, Curator of the Collection, for a conversation about Burke’s Delight: The Stacey and Michael Burke Collection. The discussion will highlight Burke’s recent donation of more than 80 works by over 50 artists from across the American South. Together, they will explore Burke’s early days as a collector, the evolution of his vision, and how he brought that vision to life.
