Instructions
Step 1: Cubism in art expresses something that is based in reality while using geometric shapes to illustrate it. What is your favorite shape?
Step 2: Explore your house. Look for materials that you can use to create your artwork. Think about the colors and shape of the materials you collect. Think about a geometric shape you want to incorporate into your artwork. What materials replicate that shape? Make sure you ask a parent or guardian’s permission to use the materials that you find.
Step 3: Once you have collected materials for your artwork find a place to set up your assemblage. You can create your artwork on a piece of paper, on the floor, or on a table.
Step 4: Think about how you want to arrange the materials to illustrate your subject. What are the colors and shapes of the materials that you have collected? How can you use these characteristics to re-create the shape that you have chosen?
Step 5 (Optional): Take a picture of your artwork and share with your friends and family.

Instrucciones
Paso 1: El arte cubista expresa algo de la vida real, utilizando figuras geométricas. ¿Cuál es tu figura geométrica favorita?
Paso 2: Explora tu hogar. Busca materiales que puedas utilizar para crear tu obra de arte. Piensa en los colores y formas de los materiales que recolectes. Piensa en qué figuras geométricas quisieras incorporar en tu obra de arte. ¿Qué materiales podrían reproducir esa forma? Asegúrate de pedirle permiso a un padre o tutor para utilizar los materiales que encuentres.
Paso 3: Luego de haber recolectado todos los materiales para tu obra de arte, busca un lugar para organizar tu ensamblaje. Puedes crear tu obra de arte sobre una hoja de papel, en el suelo o sobre una mesa.
Paso 4: Piensa en cómo quieres colocar los materiales para que ilustren el tema elegido. ¿Qué formas y colores tienen los objetos que recolectaste? ¿Cómo puedes utilizar estas características para recrear las formas que elegiste?
Paso 5 (Opcional): Toma una foto de tu obra de arte y compártela con tus amigos y familia.
