Showcasing artwork from Photography Camp 2026
Aspiring photographers of all skill levels participated in a hands-on, two-week program led by teaching artist Ariya Aladjem Wolf. Throughout the camp, participants developed both technical and creative skills, learning to create personal, expressive photographs while gaining experience preparing artwork for exhibition through image sequencing and layout.
Group activities and individualized instruction emphasized the fundamentals of photography, including composition, exposure, lighting and the effective use of digital camera functions. Daily assignments introduced campers to a variety of photographic genres, including street photography, still life, portraiture and both color and black-and-white photography.
Field trips to local museums and galleries enriched the curriculum, providing inspiration and context for the students’ work. The program culminated in an exhibition during White Linen Night, where each participant presented a thoughtfully curated selection of photographs created during the two-week session.
