SUMMER 2026 APPLICATIONS OPEN

Ogden Museum Learning and Engagement Department is accepting applications for the Summer 2026 Education Internship.

The Learning & Engagement Internship Program serves undergraduate students with the goal of building professional networks, developing leadership skills and empowering young professionals to pursue a career in the arts. The internship provides immersion in a museum environment and ample opportunities to work alongside museum professionals and exhibiting artists.

What will you do? 

The Learning & Engagement Intern will work closely with the Learning & Engagement Manager and Museum Educators to assist with the planning of programs presented by the Learning & Engagement Department. The summer internship primarily consists of assisting with the operation of Ogden Museum Summer Camps and Museum tours. Due to the high demand of the summer camps, the internship calls for a 35 hour a week commitment from June 1 through August 1, 2026.

Students who have an interest in pursuing a career in the arts, education or museums are encouraged to apply.

• Experience working with kids
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable with public speaking
• Classroom management skills a plus
• Creative problem solver
• Energetic and enthusiastic
• Strong leadership skills
• Proficiency in Google Drive, Microsoft Office and Canva
• Graphic design skills a plus
