Bio

Craig LeBlanc is a native New Orleanian whose body of work includes oil paintings on canvas, panel and wood. He began painting in earnest in 2006 while displaced from the city. The work is figurative, often with expressive crowd scenes and images of massed humanity creating plenty of color, excitement and visual action. The paintings are frequently Louisiana centric. His work has been exhibited at several galleries in the central Texas area including Gallery Black Lagoon and Live Oak Art Center as well as the annual Art City Austin event.  After a decade in Austin, TX he is now very pleased to be back in South Louisiana painting with oils in the Hub City of Lafayette.
