DESCRIPTION:Panelists and New Southern Photography photographers\, RaMell Ross\, Jared Soares and Celestia Morgan\, will examine the New Southern Photography exhibition and L. Kasimu Harris’ essay\, “The Dismantling of Southern Photography\,” touching on the historical and contemporary disparities within the canon of Southern photography that exist along lines of race\, gender and sexual orientation. Moderated by L. Kasimu Harris. \nFREE and open to the public. \nA live stream of this event will be available at ogdenmuseum.org and on the Museum’s Facebook and YouTube pages.  \nPlease also join us on Friday\, January 11 at 7 p.m. for the film screening of  “Hale County This Morning\, This Evening” by New Southern Photography artist\, RaMell Ross.
