Participants will learn about harvesting the palmetto and how to prepare the palmetto to weave. Everyone will learn the foundations of basket weaving and start a palmetto basket. \nAll workshops are conducted in a friendly and welcoming environment. All materials are provided. DESCRIPTION:Directed by Thad Lee\, “Two Lives in Photography” is a documentary film about married photographers Maude Schuyler Clay and Langdon Clay. \nBased on their first-ever joint exhibition at the University Museum in Oxford\, Mississippi\, follow the Clays as they explore key works on view. The subjects range from the Mississippi Delta landscape to New York City in the late 1970s to cemeteries in Paris.
