DESCRIPTION:Join Richard McCabe\, Curator of Photography at Ogden Museum of Southern Art\, as he leads a tour of the current exhibition\, The Unending Stream: Chapter II. The studio practice of six New Orleans photographers (Casey Joiner\, Virginia Hanusik\, Clint Maedgen\, Steve Pyke\, Giancarlo D’Agostaro and Eric Waters) will be discussed. \nPhotographers Clint Maedgen and Eric Waters will also be present to talk about their individual projects and practices. \nFree and open to the community. \n\nAbout The Unending Stream: Chapter II \nThe Unending Stream: Chapter II highlights New Orleans’ thriving photography community. The title of the exhibition pays homage to a Clarence John Laughlin photograph of the same title\, which is a part of the permanent collection at Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Laughlin’s seminal work\, created between the 1930s and 1950s\, is an important chapter in the long-storied relationship between New Orleans and photography.
