Use everyday household items to create your own masterpiece! \nFor our first challenge\, we will be examining the art of Entwined artist\, Ed Williford\, and learn how to cast organic objects. \nEd Williford\, Continuous Knot with Surface Articulation\, 2019\, Fabric\, paper\, wire\, thread\, glue\, pigment\, Collection of the artist \nHere’s what you’ll need: \n\nCardboard and paper (grocery bags\, newspaper\, old copy paper\, package boxes\, phone books\, etc.)\nWhite glue or modge podge\nFlour\nWater\nLarge flat bucket or pan\n1-2” brushes\nOld nails\, screws or any other rusted old nick nacks\nLarge covered workspace\nA large piece of cardboard to work on\nTea towels for drying area\nTwisty ties\, bailing wire or any other type of leftover household wire you can use to wrap and bind your objects\n\nThis live class is led by Ogden Museum Educator\, Mikhayla Harrell.
