As an artist\, T-Ray’s journey has cultivated an organic\, unorthodox relationship with an instrument whose history is deeply rooted in classical music however\, T-Ray has all but let the historical context of his violin define him as an artist and brand. \nT-Ray\, a Recording Academy member and Future Grammy Award winner\, has always been in search of his own voice and identity\, not only as a violinist but also as an artist at-large. His journey and pursuit to greatness has led him to create his own genre and sound in the form of eclectic fusion. \nTaking a leap of faith and stepping away from his role as a music educator over 7 years ago has yielded a great deal of opportunities and expansion for T-Ray as an artist. Multiple tours\, project releases and the opportunity to open upon for established artists such as Frankie Beverly & Maze\, Anthony Hamilton\, K. Michelle\, Wale\, DJ Mannie Fresh\, Erykah Badu\, Dead Prez\, David Banner and Curren$y has only continued to elevate his sound and brand. He has also worked with notable New Orleans based artists such as\, Big Freedia and Tank and the Bangas \nIn between touring\, T-Ray has performed nationally and internationally gracing the stages of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival\, Essence Festival\, French Quarter Fest\, Voodoo Festival\, Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival and colleges and universities across the nation. \nAdditionally\, T-Ray has teamed up with a multitude of talents and entities to include Actor/Artist Hill Harper\, comedian/host Sheryl Underwood\, Estelle\, Con Funk Shun and Chef G Garvin of the Food Network. T-Ray’s diligent work has cultivated performance calls from the New Orleans Saints\, New Orleans Pelicans\, BET\, AT&T\, star athlete parties and events\, Fortune 500 companies\, real estate investors and fitness gurus who have grown to love and appreciate the his sound\, along with the time\, dedication and work that he continues to put in. \nT-Ray is a passionate and resilient visionary with an unwavering dedication to his craft.
