SUMMARY:Artist Workshop: Exploring Book Arts
DESCRIPTION:Are you an open book? What story/stories are you yearning to tell? Delve into the art of the book inspired by the work of Tony Dagradi featured in Louisiana Contemporary\, Presented by The Helis Foundation. Led by Museum Educator Mikhayla Anderson\, this workshop will guide you through constructing a layered\, low-relief book-based sculptural tableau using old books and collage materials. \nEach session begins with a visual assessment of the artworks and a brief guided meditation. It is our hope that these moments of concentration and quiet mindfulness will enhance your artistic experience.
