Must be 18 years or older to attend. \n$45 member/ $50 non-member \nNot a museum member? Save money on this workshop and others like it\, plus receive exclusive privileges like unlimited free admission\, private exhibition previews and so much more when you join Ogden Museum today! Membership begins at the low price of $60. \nJoin the O today\n\nAbout Artivism Dance Theatre \nImage courtesy of Key \nArtivism Dance Theatre is a collective of artists dedicated to bringing awareness to social issues through art. \n“We tell our own stories in an effort to reach across divisions\, find commonality\, and spark change. We prioritize communication of social message over esoteric performance\, often using multimedia techniques in our work. We believe that art\, and specifically movement\, can communicate perspective and experience across gaps in culture\, language\, and tradition that might otherwise remain unreachable.” \nThe collaborative is comprised of dance professionals with years of experience in both performance and instruction. Trained in a great variety of techniques\, Artivism’s repertoire displays the expertise of company members ranging from movements of the African diaspora to Ballet. They believe in the power of movement to transform our health\, our lives and our communities. \n \n  \n/// Event image courtesy of Hannah Bahney
