DESCRIPTION:Join wellness educator Kim Nicole for a Craft Happy Hour! Participants will create their own herbal teas. \nIn this workshop students will learn about herbs that combat stress\, boosts the immune system and reduce anxiety. Next\, participants customize their own tea blends using locally grown herbs from Crown Community Garden to ensure a healthy season ahead. \nAll materials provided. Must be 18 or older to attend. DESCRIPTION:Ogden Museum welcomes artists of all backgrounds to experience the practice of figure drawing in the historic rotunda of the Patrick F. Taylor Library.  \nGuided by Museum Educator Myron Solomon Jr.\, each session presents a unique opportunity to sketch from a live\, nude model while honing observational drawing skills. Basic materials are provided\, and participants are also encouraged to bring their preferred sketching tools. A Dillard University BFA and School of Visual Arts MFA graduate\, his work pushes beyond traditional New Orleans art while honoring its cultural roots. Exploring existential themes\, Myron uses hyperbole to evoke introspection in his audience. His passion for the arts extends to education\, where he shares his knowledge with youth\, aiming to inspire the same transformative experiences that shaped his own journey.
