For ages 7 and above! Bring the art of the American South to your home with an Ogden Museum Art Box! Discover Southern art and artists and create your own works inspired by the Ogden Museum’s permanent collection! Each box includes:

• Four art projects with easy-to-follow instructions
• Art supplies needed for the projects
• Access to instructional videos led by an experienced Museum Educator 

The Southern Self-Taught Artists Box explores four important artists in the Ogden Museum’s  collection: Thornton Dial, Clementine Hunter, George Andrews and Minnie Evans. Though all received little or no formal art training, they each found unique ways to express their thoughts, feelings and personal narratives. Learn about these important artists and discover new art-making techniques to tell your own story.
