Year-Round Scavenger Hunt

We have many different types of paintings throughout Ogden Museum, including:

  • Lanscape – A picture of land that can be seen in one glance
  • Still Life – A painting or drawing of an arrangement of objects (such as flowers and fruit)
  • Abstract – Using color, line, or texture, with little or no attempt at creating a realistic picture
  • Portrait – A painting, drawing, or photograph of a person that usually only includes the person’s head and shoulders

Explore the entire Museum and try to find 2 examples of each type of a painting described above. Once, you’ve found them, use your phone to take a picture of each. When all have been found, return to the front desk with your photos and claim your prize!
