O What A Night! PRESENTED BY HEARST AND WDSU-TV

/// October 21 @ 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Each October the Ogden Museum hosts its annual O What A Night! Dubbed “the Met Ball of the South”, O What A Night! is an unparalleled celebration of Southern art, culture and cuisine. The glamorous black-tie event highlights the important mission of the Ogden Museum: to broaden the knowledge, understanding, interpretation and appreciation of the visual arts and culture of the American South. The Museum is honored to have Hearst and WDSU-TV as presenting sponsors this year. O What a Night! chairmen for 2017 are Alexa Georges and Debra Shriver.  Cuisine will be provided by Chef Justin Devillier of La Petite Grocery and Balise. This year’s honoree is Pamela Joyner, whose collection of abstract artists of color from America and the African diaspora will form the basis for the upcoming exhibition Solidary and Solitary: The Pamela J. Joyner and Alfred J. Guiffrida Collection, presented by The Helis Foundation.
