About Grad Student Gatherings
This new series, tailored specifically for graduate students in Arts Administration and Museum Studies, aims to connect young professionals in the museum and nonprofit fields from across the Greater New Orleans area. Join us and explore topics such as: What is involved in running a Museum? Who decides what exhibitions are presented? What makes the Ogden Museum of Southern Art different from other museums? Planned on select Thursdays, each Grad Student Gathering will include a tour of the Museum followed by an engaging roundtable discussion. Participants are then invited to stay for Ogden After Hours, the weekly entertainment series showcasing Southern musicians, drinks and access to the galleries (FREE admission to OAH for all attendees). Don’t miss the chance to network and take a peek behind the scenes at the O!
