Artist Spotlight: Holly Guertin

July 6 – August 20, 2017

Holly Guertin is a fiber artist originally from Salisbury, NC. She received her BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Fibers in 2011 and now runs her own label, Ernie and Irene.  She was frequently exposed to craft and creating throughout her childhood in small-town North Carolina, and continues to be inspired by the materials and traditions behind fiber crafts and processes passed down through generations of women.  Holly creates crocheted and felted fiber art pieces and her work has been featured in Knit Wit Magazine, The School of Styling, and Vintage Wedding Style by Elizabeth Demos.
